HEC Liège in a few words

To become actors in a changing world.

Today, we are collectively involved in a globalized world that invites interculturality, language skills, and internationality. This world is moving towards digitalization, which is changing our relationship with society, but not only. Business and economic models are being questioned and are evolving towards more social and sustainable governance ethics. Better redistribution of wealth, respect for the environment, the fight against tax evasion: these societal challenges are reflected in all our courses and are part of the evolution of the Faculty. Because we share our students' expectations, which are different from the past. They are looking for the world to change and to act on it. The circular economy, SMEs, cooperatives or even a revival of the public service are shaking up the old model, and many young people are moving towards these alternatives. This requires more versatile knowledge, practices and approaches.

Cross-disciplinarity and curiosity, combined with academic rigor, allow students to refine their openness and their critical view of the world. In addition to a varied course program, our students are made aware of the world of work, notably through meetings or company simulations. We also seek to make them versatile and multicultural. For example, they can obtain a double degree in law and management, business engineering and industrial or computer engineering, or link up with sociology for human resources and governance.

We encourage them to spend part of their studies abroad, either as an intern or during an Erasmus semester. We teach them to take charge with agility and to build a unique skills profile.

The entire HEC Liège community lives at the heart of the HEC Liège campus and its special spirit. In close proximity to each other, we give our students the opportunity to actively participate in the life of the Faculty by organizing and managing various activities: the cafeteria, sports activities, course syllabi, welcoming Erasmus students and many other areas.
 

In addition to the courses, our students develop skills that will help them become committed actors in tomorrow's world.
